Copy of an Albert Bierstadt
Albert Bierstadt – The Sierra Nevada in California copy
While home bound in the first half of my summer vacation in 2006. I made a trip to the local Hobby Lobby buying painting supplies and craps i don’t need, I came across a print of “Among The Sierra Nevada Mountains California” by Albert Bierstadt. I was with my mom staring at a print and telling her it can’t be that hard to copy a painting like this. She dared me to do one for her, and in spirit of spontaneity and hotheadedness, I agreed and set to work. I lost interest of the painting after just 2 weeks, but kept painting on and off for another 2 month. It was never finished it, you can see the grass toward the bottom were never finished. This piece measures 45″ by 60″. Oh yeah, the shape isn’t accurate compare to the original painting either, i had to improvise a little bit. Follow to see more images.

I think once Google notices the market for online backup, which usually happens after it becomes fairly mainstream, they will defiantly try to get a share of it. The question is will they use there own platform or try to keep it “separate” from Google and buy out the competition.
