Trying to find a microwave oven
Written on September 11, 2009

Moved to a new place a few weeks ago. Everything’s going great except for one little detail: there is no microwave oven. I’ve been heating everything up by recooking them the past 2 weeks, but it’s getting old very quickly so i went online to searching for a microwave. Apparently, those who buy microwave ovens on amazon also has a interest in replica AK47s. Never thought myself as such an outlaw….

MSEA web design from Audacious Inquiry
MSTA is now MSEA! This screenshot was included in our proposal of the RFP. The idea is to create a more attractive and welcoming website that incorporates the latest web 2.0 technology to create an online community of Maryland teachers and students. This was not picked up because the MSEA staff didn’t have faith in our preferred CMS.

Point Lookout design from Audacious Inquiry
Point Lookout Resort and Conference Center – acquired in December of 2007 by Erickson Foundation. In order to generate optimal use of this expansive facility, The Erickson Foundation is partnering with local, regional and national community groups and agencies on aging. The new website will push the resort aspect of the website instead of the meetings and conference side. This was our design proposal. It wasn’t picked up.This is what become of it.

St. John’s Episcopal Church design from Audacious Inquiry.
Website designed for St Johns Episcopal Church while working at Audacious Inquiry. My idea was to capture the awe-inspiring architecture of the cathedral and the mood from the dark and quite nave. it was not picked up because St Johns staff prefer a brighter colored and more (in a “traditional” sense) modern design to show their inclusiveness and their joyous parishioners. Here is what became of it.

Brown Advisory, a growing investment management firm with offices in Baltimore, Washington, New York, Boston and London, chose AI to develop a new website that better reflected a firm of substantial size and geographic reach; it also sought a site that would be easier to administer and maintain. Air-Sea International Logistics

Air-Sea International Logistics identity
air-sea international logistics identity and website. you can find the website here. This was done in the beginning of 2009 and was recently changed. The idea of the logo was:
- simplicity, like all good modern logo designs
- easy to convert into animation, like the old Cingular logo, its a box… can’t get much easier
- Tilted boxes to show their speed in delivery
